How are shape names registered?

Names are first come, first served. Once a name is taken it cannot be claimed by anyone else.

What happens after I pay?

Your polygon is recorded permanently in the public registry and a landscape PDF certificate is generated and downloaded immediately.

Why is there a side-count limit?

We accept regular polygons with between 1,000 and 99,999,999 sides. This keeps the registry meaningful and avoids trivial entries.

How precise is the exterior angle?

We compute 360 / n to twenty-five significant figures using arbitrary-precision arithmetic, then display it in scientific notation (e.g. 3.6 × 10⁻²°) on your certificate.

Can I get a refund or change my registration?

Entries are permanent. If something is wrong, write to support@nameashape.com and we'll do our best to help.
